Pastor - Rev. Dr. David Barker (david@fpcsanmarcos.org) David has been pastor at First, San Marcos since May, 2001. A graduate of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, David entered the ministry after 15 years in academia as a professor of communication. He is married and has two children. His interests include all things Western (except country & western music, thank you), music (J.S. Bach, Pat Metheny, Frank Sinatra, but not c&w), reading (especially history and biography), and dogs. He also loves to escape to the mountains whenever possible which, living in Texas, takes some doing.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) Jack has been Director of Music at First, San Marcos for three years. He has a degree in music pedagogy from the University of Texas and is also Assistant Band Director at a middle school in Austin. Jack's wife, Noel, an accomplished musician and band director in her own right, is part of the Praise Band for our Contedmporary Worship Service and frequently plays the flute--her primary instrument--in the Traditional Worship Service.
