Pastor - Rev. Dr. David Barker (david@fpcsanmarcos.org) David has been pastor at First, San Marcos since May, 2001. A graduate of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, David entered the ministry after 15 years in academia as a professor of communication. He is married and has two children. His interests include all things Western (except country & western music, thank you), music (J.S. Bach, Pat Metheny, Frank Sinatra, but not c&w), reading (especially history and biography), and dogs. He also loves to escape to the mountains whenever possible which, living in Texas, takes some doing.
Director of Christian Education-Ms. Bridget Maloney ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) Bridget entered the ministry of Christian Education in 1991 and has been the DCE here since June of 2009. She holds a MA in Counselor Education from Sam Houston State University and an MDiv from Brite Divinity School. She is a Certified Christian Educator in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Bridget has two ill-behaved, unrepentant canine companions named Fred and Leroy Earl. Her interests include reading, scrapbooking and crafts of many varieties.
